Mashed potatoes, fat and high in protein
This recipe is an easy way to increase both the calorie and protein content of mashed potatoes.
The recipe can also be made with powdered mashed potatoes. Here, replace milk with cream and dissolve Adozan in it before mixing with the powder. Feel free to add butter afterwards. Calculate 1 letter (10 g.) Adozan per portion.
The recipe uses Adozan Protein+, but you can easily replace it with Adozan Vital+ or Adozan Kilo+ if you want a lower protein content and higher fat content.
Ingredients
500 g of potatoes
1 dl whipping cream
30 g butter, salted
1 pinch (0.25 ml) of salt
1 pinch (0.25 ml) pepper, black
20 g Adozan Protein+ or DIAAS 96
Procedure
1. Peel the potatoes and boil them until tender in water without salt. Pour off the water.
2. Dissolve Adozan in the cream.
3. Mash or whip the potatoes and add cream with Adozan little by little
3. Stir butter into the mash
4. Season to taste with salt and pepper
