Rum balls, low in fat and high in protein

Rumballs

This recipe for rum balls is protein enriched with Adozan Protein+.
Each rum ball provides 5 g of protein and thus provides a nice supplement of protein as a supplement to the rest of the diet.

The recipe uses Adozan Protein+ or Adozan Protein +Hot , but you can easily replace it with Adozan Vital+ or Adozan Kilo+ if you want a lower protein content and higher fat content.

Ingredients

1 can of chickpeas, drained
2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
300 g dates, dried
2 teaspoons rum flavoring
1 dl oatmeal
30 g cocoa powder
60 g Adozan Protein+


Decoration
40 g coconut flour

Procedure

  1. Drain the water from the chickpeas, rinse them and let them drain
  2. Measure all ingredients and chop everything together in a food processor
  3. If the mass does not come together, a little water can be added, but be careful that the mass does not become too soft
  4. Taste the mass. If you think it should be sweeter, you can add a little sweetener
  5. Roll 20 balls and roll them in coconut flour
  6. Put them in the fridge for at least 1 hour, but preferably until the next day
  7. The rum balls can last 4-5 days in the fridge
